Life goes on. The fake sympathy at school today was a little bit silly- several other teachers stood at my door and asked questions like, "are you safe?" "did you get one?" "did you get a letter yesterday?" I would respond accordingly and they would respond, "that's too bad" and walk away. Several people just want to know the gossip and go spread what little info they know and I guess that I add to the gossip. It doesn't bother me, but I still found it silly.
I have a busy few days ahead of me. We've got the end of a grading period on Friday! Nick is presenting his research at a conference at Butler University on Friday. And I've got a vb tourny in Indy this weekend! Amy- what are you doing this weekend? come watch me coach!
So, I better get back to work. We're almost done with the first year! I can't believe it!
