Mental Health Day

Well, it took about 7 months for me to actually cry at school, and today I met my breaking point. I've been short of sleep, pretty stressed and in need of a little break. My weekends used to be my catch up time but I've had vb tournaments for the past two weekends. So, I haven't had a chance to get caught up on grading, lesson planning and sleep.

Today, I got to school and had about 20 things to do in a short time and Murphy's Law was in full effect. What could go wrong, was going wrong. Then a teacher from next door stops by asking me how I am and I just started to cry. And I couldn't stop. I tried to get myself together and I couldn't stop crying. Luckily, I was able to get a sub and go home for a mental health day. So, I came home and took a nap and have been getting caught up on lesson planning.

I know tomorrow will be WAY better. I am thankful for a little break, I really needed it! I am already feelling more energized for tomorrow!

Lots of love! Miss you all.
