Back to school!

Hi Family and Friends! How is 2010 treating you? So far, the first three days have been pretty good for me. Nick and I enjoyed a New Year's Party at our apartment with a few friends. We enjoyed New Year's Day with some unpacking, cleaning and football watching. (I love football!) We spent the 2nd of January doing laundry and preparing for Nick's Astronomy Convention in Washington D.C.

Nick left today (the 3rd) for an Astronomy Convention where he will present his research.Nick, a classmate and his adviser will be there until Thursday night. I miss my fiance a little bit. :)
(it's still weird to call Nick my fiance)

Today, I prepared for the school week. Yes- that's right! It's time to go back to school..... noooooooooooooo! It will be fun to go back because I have some fun news to share. (my awesome Christmas gift from Nick!) The first few days back from a long break are usually kind of tough for everyone- students and teachers. Everyone is feeling a little sluggish and its can be difficult to get back to the school schedule. I better get to bed so that I have plenty of energy for tomorrow!
