Week 3 of school was uneventful. I wrote my first referral, the slip that gets them in trouble. This referral was for a simple dress code violation. The kids are starting to get a little comfortable....maybe more like restless. It's almost like something is brewing. There were several "verbal" fights with kids threatening to hit each other but there haven't been any actual fights in my hall yet. We'll see what this fourth week of school brings.
The Labor Day weekend has been great! Friday- Nick came out to my school for a perfect fall night football game. It was a lot fun because one of my students scored 2 touch downs and another student scored 3 touch downs. We were also able to enjoy the school's marching band during half time, who won state earlier this summer. They are so good that they gave me goose bumps! Saturday- we went bowling with some friends and then did a little cleaning. Sunday-Nick now has a graduate office at BSU, so we hung out there and worked on school stuff. Monday-We made chili! Yummy! We let it simmer all afternoon and it was soo tasty! We also cleaned out house a little more and relaxed.
Well, maybe something interesting will happen this week. Something worth blogging about...ha ha. Lots of love to family and friends!
