okay, life is going to get really busy I can tell. I've fallen into the routine of working for school all the time. it's the way I like to be, especially when I'm creating my own worksheets, tests, notes, ect. This is the life of a first year teacher! So here are my updates:
1. School is going great, I'm getting to know my students more and more. This is what makes all the work and lack of sleep worth it!!
2. I am so happy I am not coaching! I have been able to enjoy my small amount of free time and honestly couldn't imagine how I would be healthy and happy and coaching right now.
3. Nick is doing great! He's getting into the groove of grad school and will hopefully enjoy his classes.
4. Daniel is all moved into his dorm and tomorrow is his first day of college. I am so proud of him!
5. Dad has a big kidney stone that has landed him in the hospital....11mm in diameter. That's big! He'll be fine, just in need of pain meds and stone removal.
6. I got my first paycheck!!! And then used it to pay bills, rent, and gas. I'm looking forward to my next check which may allow for some new school clothes. :)
7. I am meeting with a financial adviser this week to talk retirement. Yes, I'm 23 but I have nothing to do with my money right now besides save. So, save I will!
That's all I really know. I am busy and loving it.
