I love a fresh week of school! I actually love Mondays. I know this is exactly the opposite for many people, "Monday, grumble grumble, I hate Mondays, grumble, grumble." That is just not me.
I love starting a new week. I enjoy asking the kids about their weekends and hearing their stories. I enjoy looking at the schedule and thinking about all of the events that will happen over the upcoming week.
I enjoy the fresh start a new week provides: Most of the kids have forgotten about what happened the week before, so, the kids' attitudes are all back to neutral. I will win some over this week and most likely make some upset. But for now, everyone is neutral.
This week will be a good week! Have I told you about my student teacher? He is in my classroom two days a week for the next month and a half. Having a student teacher is really fun! I like sharing my ideas and giving him tips on how to be a great teacher! This week, Mr. C. is going to be taking on a few more responsibilities. I know he'll do fine!
This is also a great week because my mom is coming to visit my on Friday! yay!! I can't wait to see her!
Ok, well I better go to bed so I can enjoy my Monday!
