oh boy, today nothing could go right. I got to school and needed to make a few quick copies, well, the copy machine broke while I was using it 7:05 am. Another teacher was there and pressured me to help fix it (this took 25 minutes, classes start at 7:30) While fixing the copy machine i got black ink all over my hands and on my pants. because of this whole ordeal I didn't have time to set up the lab for the day, put the board work on the board or turn on my computer. so i had no copies, no lab, ink covered hands, and kids in the room. i got the lab set up while the kids did some busy work but the lab didn't go as well as I had planned. the next class was going to watch some short videos clips with a worksheet.....the projector didn't work. there were a few little things and kids with bad attitudes that just sent me over the edge. So, holding back a few tears and trying to just survive, I popped in a video for my last two classes and told the kids that I was having a crummy day. It gave me the break I needed!
But hey, I survived! I came home, took a nap, Nick made me dinner and now I am doing school work. I know tomorrow will be better!!
