Well, the weekend goal wasn't a big success. As per usual, I got some work done but not enough to make me feel really ahead in school. I guess as a student teacher/first year teacher you just always feel about one step ahead of the kids. My Friday was stolen away by a highly unorganized volleyball fund raiser tournament. It was fun to play in but really took away my night.
Saturday, I had volleyball really early, then I went to Indy to shop for suits with Kell. Well, I did find an "interview" suit. Jacket, pants, skirt, and nice under the jacket shirt. So, now all I need to do is start applying for jobs. I was very thankful to have kelly there to help me pick out suits and was thankful to go to a store that supplied taller lady like myself with clothes. I'll post a picture of my suit later. So I drove straight home from Indy, threw on a dress, and went out to eat for a good friend's birthday. Afterward, the group was going to hang out at a friends house and then go out for a "night on the town." Well, instead of joining the gang we went home and I just went to bed. I was so beat from a nonstop day that I couldn't join in on the fun. I was dead tired.
Sunday, I got up early but then just relaxed in bed. Probably bad choice number one. Then I finally got some work out. Then it was time to go to vb practice, which ran over by almost 30 minutes. So, now I've been working for most of the night. Our house is quite messy and we're in dire need of clean clothes. Errands will have to take place on monday.
The weekend always seems to go by quicker then expected. Oh well.
