10 pizzas

Our school recently held a food drive for the local food bank, the class that brought in the most items would get pizza party.

My 5th period class brought in the most items!!! There are 15 students in this class- today the pizzas were delivered from the people at the food bank. They sent us 10 pizzas!!!! 10 pizzas for 13 kids (two kids were absent). The kids were laughing- I was laughing, one kid even said "this is the best day of school- ever" I don't know if I would go so far as to say that it was the best day ever, but it was pretty awesome!! We put the extra pizzas in the fridge and they're going to eat the rest tomorrow. These little fun moments make teaching a really special profession. The kids were so happy, they were like little kids in a candy shop. Even to think about it now brings a smile to make face. Who knew that 10 pizzas for 13 kids would result in the "best day of school- ever"
