Well, Wednesday was quite the eventful day....unexpectedly eventful...let's review what I had on my little to do list and see how it went.
1) Dentist (first time in about a year....) I ended up having to take Nick's Jeep to the dentist...details below. I have a small cavity and some potential crowns in the future. Bummer!
2) Make Nick lunch I picked Nick up from class/work- along the way, my car started to act funny and smell like burning. We gave the car a once over ourselves and concluded that I should take the Jeep to my upcoming dentist appointment and get it looked at later. Nick had to make his own lunch. (no biggie)
3) Laundry This had to be postponed until yesterday (Thursday) because our clothes were in side the car while my car was inside the auto shop.
4) Start to pack for a visit to Wisconsin This is happening right now. :)
5) get oil changed Oh, I got my oil changed, and a new tie rod for the left tire, and a new AC compressor. You might ask....How did she know she needed these other things? Well, as I was pulling into the shop, my car started to smell A LOT like burning and smoke was coming out of the hood. I walked into the shop, I handed off my keys to a repair guy, and as I'm explaining what happened they are popping my hood and putting out a small fire that had started in the AC compressor. Whoops! Good thing I went straight to the shop! And it's also a good thing that I had some money saved up for emergencies!
So, the day was actually quiet eventful on Wednesday. On Thursday, I picked up my car, cleaned, and did laundry. Today, we are packing and getting ready for a solid week and a half in Wisconsin!!! yippeee!!! Nick is also working and taking his finals for his summer classes. Wish him luck!
